Postponement of Referendum to Ratify of Board Resolutions to November 28, 2021

This is to inform All OGHAI members that your BOD held an emergency meeting to agree that the scheduled Referendum on Oct.31, 2021 to Ratify our Board Resolutions will be postponed to November 28, 2021 due to the request and suggestions of some members and candidates.

Seeking the approval of our focal DHSLID (formerly HLURB), the local officer recommended that the scheduled referendum can be postponed to a definite date within 30 days in order to give sufficient time to reach and inform more members, understand, and assimilate the provisions of the new policies especially that these include the imposition of penalties to violators.

It was also suggested that the new BOD should supplement the enacted rules and regulations with comprehensive Implementing Rules and Regulations(IRR) especially on the imposition of fines or penalties in order to ensure successful implementation.

Meantime, we will continue to distribute copies of the Board resolutions to members and will develop other modes to facilitate the information drive utilizing social media applications and require members to sign a response form to confirm that they have read and understood the provisions of the new policies.

Be informed also that It is declared in the General Provisions of our Deed of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions(DCCR) that pending the turnover of Management and Administration of the Subdivision to the Association, the Declarant or FLI shall have the unilateral and exclusive right to amend the Declaration or DCCR. Hence after the ratification, we also need to obtain the approval of FLI prior to implementation. I am positive that FLI will conform with the amendments since all resolutions will be beneficial to them

Please be informed however that our Election of the new set of Board of Directors will push through as scheduled on Sunday, Oct.31, 1:00 to 500 PM at the community clubhouse of our Subdivision.

Thank you for your kind understanding.
Sincerly,
